The same sender on my db4 passed away 6 months after I bought the bike and I decided to not replace it. It came on way too soon (after 100 km) so I reverted back to the proven method of setting the odo to zero after each filling up.
Now I made a plug from the base of the sender and since it's used on track only and I just peek into the filling aperture to see if the bike is getting thirsty the next session _________________ Track riding on a Bimota: FUN! |

This is what's inside that brass tube. Still good perhaps possible to repair. Will see if I can get the same size tube. I now understand why the fuel light would flicker.
