Hello, gentlemen

I know that SB8K Santamonica is not a most common bike around but wondering if someone can help.

I urgently need a complete Speed Sensor Wire harness that connects speed sensor to ECU (I guess). The one on my bike is a 2 wire harness.

After a long search I was able to identify a Speed Sensor used on the bike.
The Speed sensor is the one used on old Audi and VW.

The following is a list of cross-referenced part numbers which are all identical.
Rostra 501033
NTK AU0171
Standard Motor Products SC198
WVE 5S7199

I was also able to find a connector with an 8” wires.
AcDelco PT2164
SMP HP3860
SMP S697

Unfortunately connectors only come with a short 8” wire pigtails and I would have to splice and connect to build a complete wire harness.

It seems to me that a previous owner did splicing and after time connection failed.

So, if anyone is familiar with harness availability it would be awesome.

I would highly appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction. I am 100% certain that this sensor wire harness is not unique to Bimota but don't know on what other bikes/cars it might be used on.

Also if anyone has SantaMonica I would love to see a picture of your Speed Sensor and it’s connector
