After removing the gas tank from a Tesi 3D, adjacent to the connector for the fuel pump / fuel-level sender are three unused connectors, a two-pin, four-pin and nine-pin (only 8-pins occupied).
Can anyone say why these are there and their purpose? One might suppose that perhaps the same wiring harness was used on (an)other model(s), if so, what model(s)?
Thanks in advance. |

Wiring look is from a Ducati....which may have had ABS.....Tesi3D's dont...or may have had Oil temp gauge...or other electronics...its common to have connectors on Bimotas that just end with nothing plugged into them...theres 3 others in the headlight assembly....Does everything work on the bike? If so...dont worry about them...They buy the engines with the wiring looms...but also dont use the same ECU's as Ducati...so have to change the looms to suit different ECU's..Different headlights, rear lights...etc etc...and Bimota fit things in different places...which Tesi3D is it? |
