Just started recommissioning an old YB9. I have discovered I only have three of the four velocity stacks and the FZR velocity stacks available on ebay are much taller.

Could I use the tall FZR stacks with out further carburetor adjustments? Or should I take them all off!

Needless to say I cannot see any of the stubby YB9 velocity stacks.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Don't know whether the price would be over the top but how about getting one 3d printed to match?

That’s an interesting idea I hadn’t considered it. I think what I’ll do is change them all to the tall fzr stacks and see how it goes. I suspect it will make little difference but for a little more top end perhaps.

But, if this doesn’t produce a smooth running engine my brother is a cad engineer and I think he recently bought a 3D printer!

Good thinking Phil! Thanks for the prompt.
