Yes indeed!
Is it a Vdue frame you are using for that project? |

Yes, Vdue frame, I also have a tank and seat unit.
Honda swinger is good fit, but I need to work on shock mount.
Front forks are also not far away, I am just sorting fairings.
I have some Vdue fairings but may use Tyga or similar, just to be different. |

So a little update.
Just picked up the frame and swing arm from Guido yesterday, after having the rear shock fitted.
Now good people out there; who has an engine for sale (other than the one Piero has on eBay)?

Thanks Trev!
Forgot to mention that the rear shock I bought through WRS (with the correct Vdue part number) was about 20mm too short.
Luckily Guido Fiedler lives near by the Nürburgring where Öhlins Distribution and Test Centre is also located so he drove by and had them modify the rear shock to the correct length so there still is room for adjustment. |

Had the same problem ten years ago, on the box it said Bimota 500 but 20mm to short must of been for a DB something model ? |

Buy complete, but I would like to have it with the mods that Guido does because I know that to be reliable from the EVO I had from him.
Problem is when I find a motor I would still need to throw € ~4k at it
I also have the option to get a "latest revision" Racing motor from Piero but I can't speak to their reliability etc. |

Good morning. I see you are interested in either buying an engine or selling your project bike can you tell me how much you are willing to spend on an engine or how much you are going to sell the project rolling chassis for.
Thank you.

Hi Matty - I had literally just accepted an offer for an engine 1 hour before you posted but I wanted to wait for the response back from Guido that we had a solid deal, so that's why I couldn't respond before now.
My project will move forward with his engine. I believe this was his last complete engine.
I am in for about € 6.900,- in parts and assembly currently and the engine will add € 9.250 to that.
I still have a boatload of other things to buy before it can turn a wheel in anger - the biggest things being a tank, exhaust, dash, carbs and other bits and bobs. I am not decided on what I will do with fairings yet. Maybe Motoflash as they are the cheapes option.
I will definetely break the € 20k mark I had initially aimed for but okay |

Okay, img tags not working so here are the pics on imgur:

Engine is in and work is ongoing again ...
I have put another 7.260 towards it by now so at the moment I am looking at EUR 23.360 in the past 5 years.
But I guess expense is okay since it will be full Öhlins (chep-ish spares available if I crash it) and factory new engine with Guido Fiedler mods and running pre-mix and 38 Mikunis ...
