Yeah Bimota's are very expensive over here. Come to think of it, all bikes are expensive over here. Even more expensive if they're sought after or a bit rare. Some Bimota's for sale in Aus: DB1 - $25k, DB4 - $13k & 14k, DB6 - 27k, DB7 - 32k, SB6 - 20k
New Bimota's: DB8 - 50k, Tesi 3D - 53k
But i guess if you want one bad enough you'll pay what they want.
I paid 16k for my SB6 (4700 klm) about 3 months ago. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

There is a SB6 here in NZ and the asking is $15000 or about 7.5k pounds, theres also a DB4 with a buy now price of $18000. The price of Bimotas here is the reason i look to the UK to purchase another one. I paid 2.5kpound in 2004 for my YB11 and after shipping it home it was still cheaper by about $5000 than the YB11s that were available here at the time. |

For any one interested in this SB6r, I took a stroll today to see how this bike is looking.
It's looking mint and you really would be hard pushed to find a better example
The only sticking point is the price but...........you get what you pay for and it is being sold on commission so I would presume that all offers would be passed on to the owner |

Yeah, i must admit... you have to be a real enthusiast to buy exotic bikes in Australia. Or have money to burn, one or the other. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Fill that camper van with fuel and cash.
Frame no; 12 , 1st SB6 in U.K. Nice addition to the stable
The extra body work could come in handy too
