I reckon the SB6 did mid to late 120's at the back wheel. |
Really??
The Worst SB6 I've had on the dyno was low 130bhp and that had a dodgy clutch and was high milage and due a refit
I'll see if I can find the dyno charts
Anybody else had their 6 on the dyno? |

unless you plan on being on a drag strip then most money spent on increased bhp is pointless. |
How about a TURBOED drag SB6.........
Always fancied a turbo, it would be mental |

I think I'd preffer a super charger myself.
All engines and tuning is a compromise and it's down to the owner to decide how far to take it. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

They're the same profile as the 750W |
Seem to remember that the case also.
I'm also with chicken on the power.

I'd say the engine will cost you relatively big bucks and the quick gains can be made in light wheels |
What is the point of power if you cant use it. I have a mate with a Busa and yes he can leave me for dead on the DB4 in a drag race, but get on a country road and form A to B I will win hands down.
So thats 175bhp 215kg against 80bhp and about 160kg . |

The thing with power is that it should either read "usable power" or "torque". If you torque tune an engine it's going to be better for the road where your using low and midrange between 30 - 90 mph. For that you raise the compression change the spark timing and cams to suit. _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

A big part of it has to do with the rider too. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Your right Brian, the rider is as important as the bike and comparing a Busa to a DB4 is like comparing a muscle car to a micra..............
