Hi John
I already have one of your pristine bikes - having another would mean 2 Bimotas living in the conservatory and none to ride!
The DB2 is scheduled for trackday and (weather permitting) some serious road use - the fact that it's tatty (compared to your minter) removes the worry
The benefits of the 748/916 fairing became apparant when I changed the plugs - 4 Dzus fasteners and 1 bolt removed an entire fairing side! Try that with yours
ps - do me a favour John. Next time you unwrap the DB2, take a picture of the speedo / tacho assembly - not sure what clocks my bike has got.

the faring not the bike ! i would not swop the bike as mine has had loads of work done on the motor and exhaust and the flatsides , i just like the look of the 916 front end .
mabe i will see if i can find one .
as for the clocks i will send you a photo later ![Very Happy](images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) _________________ so many toys so little time |

The DB2 is in bits at the moment, so next opportunity I get I will photograph the front fairing mount - I'm pretty sure its a modified 748 / 916 unit.
Do the exhaust cans on your bike bolt together? One of my cans is missing a nut at the can / pipe flange and the sleeve is loose and rattles - probably sheared an internal stud? |

Hi John
picture of the other end of the pipes is what I would like to see. My clocks don't look like that either. Bit of a mongrel my bike!
Battery is a 12V 14AH EB14L - A2

Thanks John - but still unclear as to how you cans are attached to the pipes - are they welded or removable?
and ditch the Michelin Hi Side ASAP ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |
