Very good Marty
Just shoved it into babelfish for a translation but there's no facility to translate northern British into southern British |

Drink a bottle of "Buckie" (Buckfase MEad) several pints of heavy, a crate of McEwans, topped up with a fish supper, deep fried pizza, a lorne sausage sarnie, meat pie, and tablet and the babelfish would not be needed, nor would you care either from recollection of my 7 years North of the Border |

Oh yes, they are for real, of course they don't batter them, they only do that with sausages, burgers, fish and mars bars. But even the pies are deep fried. I always wondered why my pies had a "tin snip" in them its coz when they take them out of the fryer they make a small snip and give a "light squeeze" to the pie to drain a little oil out as a concession to healthy living. Hhhmm I can sense your "chops" salivating at the prospect.
Many moons ago myself and 2 other colleagues went up to Couport/Faslane submarine base for interviews, got to Helensburgh way early so we all bought pizza from the local chippy for lunch prior to the interview. Nice sunny day so we sat on the prom looking out to sea. During eating and after finishing we all felt that the pizza boxes had warmed our laps somewhat. Only after lifting the boxes did we each discover a 12inch pizza sized absorbed fat stain around each of our crotches in our nice suits, that had leached through the boxes.
Looked like we each had an serious incontinence issue!.
Never has such a sight been seen in the local gents public conveniences as 3 south of the Border folk stripped to the waist furiously washing and soaping pants in sinks and drying with the hand driers. Took bleeding ages.
Oh yeh and for some reason we all passed the interviews and all took jobs there, such fools!

should have kept the trousers with the stain. Not only would you have got the job but probably a promotion as well _________________ Pomps

Ah but it was before the days of political correctness and equal oppurtunities, now I pee my pants before any interview as they are too afraid to turn me down for fear of being had up for disability discrimination |
