Been busy again with the project, received the new headlight from germany and removed the glass.
Next thing is painting the inside of the headlight in a fresh new colour before glue-ing it al back together.
One problem that i have now is...what type of headlight does fit in the projectors of the fzr400rr??
H4,h3, and h7 ( as you can see in the pictures) do not fit...is there any kind of crappy japanese bulb which is not available in europe?
Hope someone can elp me out.
Otherwise....fzr 400 forum

Thank you very much for the link...i have never seen them before and they are indeed very expensive.
I think i have to improvise to fit the h7 somehow...and main reason is that i prefer xenon headlights and i think this is not available for these type of headlights.
About the hongkong headlight this will be some fancy led's to to make the final touch...but this makes sense when it is finished and placed in this topic with pictures.
Enjoy the sunday ! _________________ Ducati 750 SS café racer, BMW R nine T Cafe Racer, Husqvarna Vitpilen, KTM Rc8, Husqvarna Vitpilen 701, Bimota DB6 |

H7 or H4 won't work well. The lamps are designed for these bulbs and you get a dark patch if you use a different type - even if you remove the black bit on the end of the the H4 bulb
That's why I was interested, I thought you were going to change the lamps _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

@ evilchicken, only hongkong lamps are the halo rings wich i showed also on the picture ( not installed yet..but just placed to see how this looks and if they were wide enough). _________________ Ducati 750 SS café racer, BMW R nine T Cafe Racer, Husqvarna Vitpilen, KTM Rc8, Husqvarna Vitpilen 701, Bimota DB6 |

Can you mount them in front of the red ring rather than behind ? _________________ Don't read everything you believe |
