for an MOT at the garage where a mate works - he sent me the details straight away.

it's local and it's for sale, with all the original parts included. Be rude not to go and have a look, wouldn't it? Wink

doubt they are Ducati wheels as the sprocket is on the "wrong side" on the BB1 and the spoke pattern doesn't appear to be reversed when compared to the front wheel.
Going to view one day this week so will let you know in due course. Very Happy

only other bike I know of with the sprocket on the r/h side is the Aprilia RS125 - which also had the single front disc on the r/h side too. Question

wheels are Marvic.
exhaust is CBR900RR Blade / Supermono concotion.
original seat unit has been hacksawed off to make a "trim" around the seat.
Fairing has been cut and drilled for indicators and to clear the front master-cylinder which is attached to clip-ons which have been fitted the wrong way around so they raise up.
original "tank" cover / glovebox has been chopped off the seat unit.
Alloy tank is wonderful.
Tail tidy is less so.
It has potential.
Its far too dear for me.
It will probably be on ebay later this month.
I will not be bidding.

Any idea where he got that tank made?
I would sure love to have a look at that one (or even buy a similar item).

The wheels, look like, as previously stated, Marvic Pentas. Bimota offered such wheels as a part of their operational package for racing, together with TDD injection, big bore kit, CF bodywork etc.

I was offered a pair of Pentas for my Supermono some years back, but didn't want to take the risk of riding Pentas on the road. Later, I bought a pair of second-hand PVMs off a Ducati TT2, and modified the rear wheel to take a RH chain and LH brake disk. The difference in unsprung, rotating mass between the heavy Anteras and PVM magnesium wheels transforms the handling. I was at a local Track today, for my first Supermono ride for 2 years(!). Great fun. I put the bike on my workshop scale when I got home, and it weighs in at 145,8kg with some fuel in the tank. Not too bad for a road-legal bike.
