Thanks for clarifying, I just bought a very low mile SB6R and will keep aware of that problem! Thank you for bringing this issue to our forum's attention. I love this forum!!! |

Glad you like the Forum George, we're always happy for new members, just remember that we also love pictures, so don't be shy, you must also have a DB1 and DB2, so lots of pretty pictures please, or at least a little info on your hoard? |

Just to clarify George........
This is a SB6 problem not a 6R problem.
The 6R has a different rad/fan configuration and looks like it won't sufer the same fate as the SB6 fan

Has anyone encountered a fan melting on a SB6 before? I imagine it would only be a problem if the bike was idling for a long period. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

It's not just a Bimota problem. The Suzuki guys also have issues over time. |

The advert in the link says you can run the engine cooler in the city, which is good but then goes on about robbing horespower ... you don't really need max horepower in the city ... _________________ Don't read everything you believe |
