I'd be there for the following Sunday or Wednesday night for vort?

Vorts currently "sejouring" in Abersoch for 2 weeks, just his luck, doesn't take any bikes with him, or his boat, and the sun comes out to play for only the second long session this year....

My weekends are all screwed up for a few weeks with holidays and son around whilst off, will have to check my calendar, always willing to accept visitors though, usually at home on Thursdays and Fridays for anyone wanting a trip North, willing to lend the odd bike out also....

Mmm, sure would be nice to have some other bims in my area for a meet. Put my bims in a local bike show this weekend. over 120 bikes entered the show and mine are the only bimotas. I guess someone had to add a little class to the show Laughing

Some very nice machinery there though.

Beautifull weather here too. Middle of winter, 17 deg C at 08:40 am. Not a cloud in the sky. Fairly normal for here though Very Happy

Was there any prizes handed out? Or was the "prize" just having them there and having folk come up to chat about them? which got more attention or were you too busy answering questions to count.

120 bikes, sounds like the queue at the local traffic lights going to Rivington Barn each Saturday and sunday Laughing

Oh and stop talking about your weather....you know you're just rubbing it in. my next bikes going to be jetski if we get any more rain

The bike show is organized by the Brittish Motorcycle Owners Assn. So lots of old (and some new) Brittish bikes there. Also quite a lot of HD's there. A few people knew about Bimota but a lot didn't. I have a 1961 BSA 650 in my shed that belongs to my father in law, i'm helping him get it going again.

You know when you've been away too long when you get back home and someone new is living in your house, and has no idea who your wife is or where she may be now Laughing

Sorry to have missed out on the meet lads, but like living on the far side of the moon when I'm in Abersoch, no tv , internet etc.
Anyway , next time I am in the midlands is the week of the 10th September, so would be Wednesday 12th, I know, long time off but been grounded as girlie spotted the 5th bike yesterday Shocked Confused Rolling Eyes
