5 is that it. Hardly worth the diesel money for the lads and the van to come and collect.
I suppose Oily has enough spares for a few more though !!

I have been contacted by Glen external to the forum to clarify what he did and did'nt say :-

I did not say the V Due was shi$e, but after it goes to press there is nothing you can do.
I was not asked proof read the article before it was published, as there are some glaring mistakes about numbers etc.
The article about what went wrong with Bimota was originally centred totally around the V Due (apparently the seed of Satan in some peoples eyes) until I spoke with Gary to advise him that it was only a piece of the jigsaw. As I believe it was / still is flawed business strategy.

Above is an extract that is relevant to this thread.

I retract my comment regarding said ' bag of shite ' as Glen assures me he did not say that.

I however have informed Glen I can not retract the statement about the Mantra being pig ugly. Sorry.

If it's well sorted and reliable then it's a really good looking bike BUT.........
if it's not well sorted and reliable then it's a good looking bag 'o shite Laughing

Personally I would stick a nice Japanese 4 stroke in it Wink

No , that would be sweet in a BB1, cause that rotax/BMW thing is pants.
I have to say I would have rather put up with the vdue than put up with the bb1 I test rode.

Anyway, anyone fancy R500 DUE, still have the plate. Somewhere !!

So there's a scale in Bimotas

Bag of Shite
pants .... etc.

I'd have though the KTM990 engine would be a good power plant
