wow,just took a peek inside the sb8's frame for hoses, looks like a job that does

Got my hose kit and it looks great.
Curious but... website says 14 piece hose kit. I got 12 hoses and 22 hose clips. I'm guessing the long small diameter one gets cut up for the battery vents and no need for clips???
Any ideas oily, how many were in your kit?
I haven't dis-robed my SB6 yet to have a look.

Hey oily, any idea how many hoses are on an SB6? How many hoses were in the kit that you received?

Just checked, specially for you......
There are twelve pieces in the kit I received too.
Two pieces missing, from memory, are the rad filler cap piece and the breather from the top of the engine to the air box. 
You shouldn't have to cut any and the long thin bit is the thermostat by-pass....phew
They really should do instructions for us thick SB6 owners 
Absolutely everything to do with them is a struggle

Thanks for checking oily  , your a champ. Are these hoses meant to be supplied do ya recon? I only got 22 hose clips in my kit too. I'm not too worried about the hose clips but I'd like all the hoses to be the same. I'll send them an email.

Spoke to racebike bits last week. I sent them a photo of the kit contents list and photo of the hoses that i received (which matched the list). They said that the picking list was wrong and identified the 2 x hoses that are missing. They said they'd send them to me as soon as they receive them.
I'm guessing ALL of the SB6 hose kits sent out to date will be the same, better check yours if anyone got one.
They've been very helpful and appolagetic.

I think you said in another thread that the long hose from the pump to the radiator is in 2 pieces? Mine is 1 piece which means i don't have a hose in the kit to fit, unless i get a joiner i guess.
This is the hoses that i got originally
and this is the missing ones that i just received

Oily, do you have a picture of your sb6 with this radiator hose? What kind of joiner is in the two piece hose. Mine is definately one piece.

I needed to build my hose up and it was originally in bits. You can get hose joiners.
