Thoroughbred was owned by John Candillo. He used to have a steel company which I think was called Candillo and Sons. When Bimota went bankrupt in the late 90's, he still had a few new and secondhand Bimotas for sale. I bought my SB6r from him.
He sold all the bikes and stock of spares to Allen Smith. Allen owns and runs the Australian Motor Museum which is in Haigslea, Queensland (0754644938). I visited Allen about 2 years ago and he said he had very little stock of Bimota parts.
Hope this helps. |
