That may be doable as I get back from work on 18th so it's a cautious yes from me and sounds like a great excuse for a trip. I know 2 others who would be up for it Wink

I hope you can make it Very Happy...

I don't think we've ever had any Bimota's at this event. This is the first time we've put a 'formal' invite on the Bimota forum so we hope it proves successful.

Buell and bimota used another manufacturers engine to save money and used that saving to design the perfect frame and running gear to max out the original donner engine. I think they have far more in common with bimota then Harley! Lighter, better handling, ground breaking design owned by individuals who don't run with the pack. We should treat like twinned towns!

Buell and Bimota - I like that, it's a very good comparison Razz...

Our link between Buells and Italian bikes comes about because Jane and I also own Guzzis, as per our signature below. My little bruv also runs three Ducatis. We have a foot in both camps, so to speak.

not actually an answer to the question I asked, is it? I stated the link between Buells and Italian bikes. I am, you may be surprised to know, aware of Buells, even to the point of actually having ridden a few, but your reply doesn't really explain the link to Moto Guzzis / Morinis / Ducatis et al, does it?
Put another way - if I was organising an Italian bike show, wouldn't you think it strange if I opened it up to Buell owners?
Chris has anwered the question, as I missed the reference to Guzzis in his first post.

I answered your question as to a link between the buell and Our own particular interest in bimota. Nothing to do with the clubs. Just an observation old chap, not questioning your knowledge on buell you have age on your side...
Laughing Sad Cool Laughing

Apologies for the delayed reply - I should check in more often Embarassed...

I can't remember a SB6 but then we've held quite a few events with 100's of different bikes present. You'd be more than welcome to come again though Very Happy....
