Nope no one here with a DB7 that can offer advice coz we're all green with envy. Blasting around Oz on a DB7 in the sunshine all year round Mr. Green sounds excellent,,, gonna hav to check the job sites again, am fed up with having to stash the bike 4 or 5 months a year Sad

Bought my DB7 in Perth Australia just before christmas

for you Guys in the UK its 39 today hot and sunny, been that way for two weeks

The Australian distributor has gone bust, but plenty of bikes sold and on the road a new importer should happen soon !!!

I have opened the ZARD exhaust for more noise

no real problems just a tacho with a devil worship problem and mind of its own

Very Happy

I just bought a DB7 today. Spent the remainder of the day removing all the stickers. I still have to get use to this bike as I only owned MV Agusta's. Time for a change.

Did you adjust your suspension? If so, how does it feel? I have mine set a factory and it is very stiff but afraid to mess with it. I would ultimately have it somewhat softer. I dont do track days just occasional long rides. I also plan to find someone to make mid pipes, hopefully soon.

I have a DB7 bought about a month ago. It travel 120km and the engine is now shot. Apparently Ducati forgot to tighten the connecting rod. Bimota claimed they will give me a new engine but I am still waiting. he local importer is helping me based on my 2 years warranty. will keep you guys posted. Yes my meter is screwed as well.

HI Well 2 days the bike DB7 came back with a new engine . Brought it out for a spin but noticed that the bike suspension is set rock hard for the street. Tried to adjust the the suspension and found out that the rear low speed adjustment (4mm) does not work . Clockwise it does not screw in fully and anti clockwise it never seems to stop. Anyone of you have the same problem? Meter is still screwed even though they changed a new one. Said something about it not matching the speed sensor or something like that. The importer will sort this out I believe.

Hi

My apologies, the low speed adjuster does work. I just found out that it is a floating valve and all you have to do is align the mark with the number and it will be set as such. number I is softest and number 11 hardest.

Not many people on the forum riding a DB7 or are the owners real quiet ?

well have now done 3000klms on the DB7 and four tachos latter all is well and fixed, my dealer has been excellent and Bimota have been great

fitted a new red anodized pressure plate looks very nice

Bike suspension still firm even on softer settings but handles the road sweetly

Believe it but i have the only DB7 licenced on the road in Western Australia, not bad exclusive in 1.6 million people Very Happy
