I always panic when I see this pic wondering how close it was to tipping point on the stand _________________ Pomps

I presume you are talking about the Db2, and yeh, it still astounds me the angle of lean it goes over on even when on the level before the sidestand touches down. have a slightly longer spare just haven't got round to fitting it yet, as it needs modding at the bracket and the spring. When you get on you do have to throw it to get it back upright, but then I recall that it sat for 8 years in an underground carpark in London without ever falling over or being moved so it "sort of" must be up to the job, just have to keep to the faith |

Bimota stands... why are they so bad. I recon the db4 stand is no better than the sb6 stand. Need to be very careful where you park _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

YB11 is the same and my Mille isn't a lot better. NC30 was great until I fitted the ohlins to the back and increased the ride height, now it tips over aka Bimota! _________________ 03 YB11, 03 Aprilia RSVR Edwards, 94 Ducati Superlight III, 95 Honda NC30, 04 Ducati 999S, 91 kawasaki KR1-S C2, 91 Ducati 851 USD Strada, 89 ZXR750H1, 90 ZXR400H1, 205 16v Rally Car, A6 2.7TDI Avant, STM R1 engined Phoenix |
