Theory looks good Vince.
All those words just to say the CEV gauge is crap
My next build I was planning on using a sPa duel temperature gauge to keep an eye on things. One sensor for water temp and one for oil temp OR one for water temp before the rad and one for water temp after the rad. Overkill, I know but it least I'd be carrying around a gauge that worked properly _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

You’re right oily, the gauge is crap. But I think it’s a shame to exchange with another type. I think this fits in nicely. So we have to fix the problem. I also have a temp gauge for the oil. I think that’s more important than water temp.
