2 years to the day since I first became a Bimota Owner, I was wealthier, perhaps Healthier and certainly had more free time than now, but I didn't have a Bimota, so all for the Best really. Happy Anniversary to me
Oh and Happy April Fools Day everyone! |

Congratulations on a good wheese, only two years ownership you'll soon be wanting another one. Bimotas like company in the garage, which is why I'm quietly looking for another just don't mention it to the wife |

Good luck on your search for another, although trying to find one "quietly" may well be an issue, even screaming and shouting aloud can still not find what you want.
Evidently I have the DB2 as well as the DB4, so yeh they keep each other company, and always seem to end up in the garage side by side, never too far from each other.
Thanks for your assistance on the Air filter front, although having pulled the bodywork off over the weekend and tank etc, on stripping the air box down I simply find a thin layer of oiled "packing" foam sandwiched between 2 SS layers of mesh. And thus no Italian Pump air filter. Ah well at least it made it easy to clean and relube with K&N oil filter fluids. Took the chance to relocate the crankcase extract tube that fed into the bottom of the aor filter box as it was well "gunky" in the bottom of the air filter box. Wouldn't mind fitting a pair of K&N air filter cones and ditching the box entirely, really can't help with the breathing as the opening is tiny and the baffle plate can't help much either. Rudolf should come through with the cush drive rubbers, and yeh, you get stung for a transfer charge, thats the problem with not being in the EuroZone, as evidently the reat of Europe have no such issue. I tend to scan for a few things I need or will need in the future and get them all at the same time from Rudolf to save on the transfer charge outweighing the items you buy |

Yeh I can, but I was also married at the time, so was hardly carefree, and I'm sure the stress and costs involved were a lot higher than Bimota Ownership for sure |
