......I'm looking for a pair of 320mm discs with a NON-dished carrier i.e. FLAT carrier.
does any body know to a list of Dimensions for Brembo or any other make of discs?
Or do any of you doochatee lovers have have flat disc carriers on your bikes?

all information kept secret and not used in an attempt to over throw any government or organisation Wink

Hhhmmm, an SB6 man asking for Doochati lovers help, maybe I can pop half a mile down the road tomorrow to Ducati Manchester and view their new and old stock for reference. I know you said flat, and thus I presume and do like to check beforehand, you mean abSOOOOlutely flat with the carrier centre the same as the disc centering bobbins?

I don't know of any post-'90 Ducati bikes with flat carriers. I probably don't remember correctly, but the vast majority are the 10mm (?) offset, like those on my ST2, 748, and Monster, and the others are the deeper offset ones (25mm ?) that were used in the early/mid 90's as found on the on the early DB2 bikes...and 888 SPO bikes(?).

All the later Bimota's (except Tesi) use the Ducati spec 10mm offset rotors.
I think he means "flat offset" in comparison to the early deep dish rotors.

If that's the case, then they are all over the place and readily available. Those were used on nearly all the 90's and early 2000's Ducati bikes and many Bimota, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, and maybe a few other bikes.

I'm assuming Oily that the discs would be for the SB6 (or one of them) to fit the new dymags you have picked up? In that you have measured the caliper spacings and found that you need flat discs with no changes then needed to the hubs?
In Which case a plated and tooled carrier plate with a 10mm offset would be the cheaper way to enable you to fit the standard discs with 10mm offset, but then I suppose you have problems with the front guard fiiting to the caliper retaining bolts?. Measured up the 4 Ducatis in the garage and all have at least a 10mm offset and I agree with the other boys re Ducatis 748/916/996/998 etc all having the same offsets.

Checking the other bikes and Motorcycle specs shows that KTM use "flat" brembo discs and carrier, but you have to watch the size as they vary between 300 and 320mm. Most of the offroad equipped and capable stuff is 300mm whilst SuperDukes etc are 320mm generally. Best of luck

Well If I can help out from time to time its a pleasure, just what Good Forums are all about. Of course it helps having a bit of a random collection of bikes. I struggled once to find a starter switch unit for the YB11 when it went AWOL and there was evidently a broken wire in a kinked section. Pondered a while and looked around the garage for inspiration. The KTM Adventure 640R had exactly the same unit! Quick unscrew and plug (same connector) Yup it fired up, made the problem solving a whole lot easier to identify the issue
