Every year it's the same...... I know I must do it and so I steal myself for the moment and even prepare bit of blurb for the advert in my head. I know I'm going to take it out of the garage, give it a fresh MOT and and a last ride and then put it up for sale.........

But then I throw the covers off it and it all goes wrong.

Trying to sell a bim is like dumping a really fit bint..........she's expensive, gorgeous, the envy of your mates, but you've been sleeping with the girl next door and you know you should end it.

And then her rear end just does it for you and all good intentions go out of the window.

BUT THIS YEAR IT'S DIFFERENT !

I haven't got it out yet, and I know that when some polite enquires start coming in from you guys I'll concede and let someone take it off me.

So, it's a 2000 YB 11 with about 12 k on the fully working clocks. It's not perfect and the price will reflect this, but it does run and ride beautifully. Like the computer fool that I am I can't figure how to put images up on this site, but all emails will be responded to with images and full response to questions.

TBH i'm not sure that I'll even try anywhere other than you guys to sell it.......it seems a but vulgar to offer it up on ebay, rather like trying to sell a Degas or Rembrandt in Athena.

Sympathy please guys, though I'll still have my baby YB7 this is a very difficult decision to make.

Keeping bikes in the living room and being able to put engine casings in the dishwasher has everything to do with not living with the other half
Cool

I want 4.5 k and when I'm able I'll send photos of the cosmetic issues it has....Nothing to loose sleep over and TBH I've always thought that as lovely as they are, the biggest smile you get from a bim is powering it out of a bend, not sitting looking at it. Very Happy Very Happy

and the reason mine are tucked away in the garage and not in the conservatory

have you seen how much damage a Bob the Builder tool kit can do to a defenseless bike!

YB7.....Everything has a price as they say.

and it is a shame to split them, anyone fancy adding them both to their collection ? It'd be nice to REALLY know they're both going to a good home.

Has it had an engine swap for the 600 engine? I know the FZR400's are quite easy to drop the 600 lump in. I'd of thought the Bims chassis would make it a very tight fit for a 600 conversion.

I've just finished a rebuild of mine, with the original 400cc engine, apart from putting the fairings back on. Can't wait to get it through it's MOT and go for a spin.

I've got the YB7, FZR400 RSP and picked up a VFR400 NC30 last week.
