It IS a tight squeeze and requires modified front frame dropouts to the front of the engine and a different radiator...... I don't know what it's off though, I got it trawling through a breakers.
The main reason the 7s not supposed to be up for sale is that I don't think it it will appeal to the purist....... |

I also had an fzr400 and often thought about dropping a 600 fzr lump in. On a yb7? why not, purists are for other marks. Bimota has a long history of frame only one offs after all? _________________ Pomps

TBH.......I'd be more interested in the modified 7 than in the 11 _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

OK, so if we're going to start talking about the 7...... does anyone think that this one is one of the original rare blue ones, or, as I suspect would it have to have gold pin stripes like the red ones that are around.
The paint is in fairly good nick and there's no evidence of a respray......
And is there any way of finding out through records how it would have left the factory ?
Mine's number 277 so it's fairly late in the production run.
Perhaps this conversation needs to go in the YB forum ? |

For those who did not work it out I did purchase the YB7 ... I hope Timania keeps the yb11 and stays active on the forum. What a great bloke. Buying blind always carries risk but its worth it when you come across genuinely honest and cool people. Thanks again, and see you in August! _________________ Pomps
