|
|
Hi All,
Tarting up my SB6 and swapping some of the manky rusty bolts and washers for stainless steel items. (I may even spoil it and get some Ti)
Does any body know the size of the caliper bots, the ones that bolt the two halves of the caliper together.
Cheers,

Well, funny you should ask...........
...here's one I prepared earlier
M8 X 40mm (measured from underneath the head)
As you can see, they are Brembo shallow head bolts. Similar to Bimota shallow head bolts. If your thinking "stainless", I just turn a couple of mm of standard socket heads _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

Cheers for that Oily,
I looked on the probolt site and they only list fairing bolts and nipples mmmmmm nipples.
I then looked at the Duc 916 listing on the off chance they use the same caliper. and yes they are M8 x 40.
All I have to do now is fins some cheep ones,
So stainless or Ti ??????
And so it begins....

Thanks EC. I've been searching for these low head stainless bolts for a while now. I could only find them in black steel but not SS.
