Good memory pomps..........your partly right.
ZXR lights are not a direct replacement but the lights therselves are the right diameter for the early SB6 (the first 500ish)
The later Sb6's have larger diameter lights Wink

left to right: ZXR 400...SB6 (early)...SB6 (late)

There are also 2 types of late SB6 headlights, one with the 3 candle power bulbs that we all know and love and one that comes with halogen bulb holders. The bulb holders are not interchangeable.

Pete needs a set of larger lights for his late SB6 Wink

Cool

You need a pair of GSX-R lamps and mount them in a plate.

But if you really want a pair I've got some in the garage somewhere.

I've made a couple of sets now and am about to make a third set for the Crescent SB6

Either of them - the earlier ones have a side light. I used a pair from a watercooled vesrsion but you have to break the glass of the unit to get them out.
I've found mine get pushed down by the coolant expansion tank.

I'll have a look for the standard lamps
