Took the steed apart once more and did the following-
1. changed oil & filter.
2. changed all the brake and clutch res pipes and bleed all.
3. Rectified the bad coolant leak from the new fan switch, d'oh.
4. Removed carbs and reset the pilot screws and then balanced them.
5. Re oiled the K&N.
6. Washed it.
Phew busy busy! All on a bike with a 1000 miles on it, cant wait for the next 1000!! lol
Word of warning dont be gettin brake fluid on the carbon fiber it tuns milky lookin and is a bitch to put right!
I need a lay down!
By the way still in need of a MPH speedo if you know of one.

Very busy day considering it should have been commissioned and serviced prior to you collecting it Laughing

yes, I am sure my next sb6 will come far better prepped! Wink But then, you would do it all again yourself anyway to be sure it was done right. I love that feeling when you know the carbs are balanced and settings true etc. Nothing like it ... Laughing
