Do most bimota share the same style kick stand base (part in contact with ground)? I have a YB8 but wondering if a DB2 has a similar base design. Reason I ask, I'm trying to make a small kick stand platform out of wood for when the bike is parked on hot pavement and don't want the kickstand to slide off the wood. I would like to make a recessed part for the base of the kickstand.

Ciao,
Jon

I use a sidestand puck - you sometimes get them free at race meetings.
If you drill a hole and attach a piece of string to it you can pick it up once you've sat on the bike. Make a loop and put it over the clutch handlebar
