Hi ,

What's the lowest and highest chassis numbers out there ? My V Due is number 222 and is on carbs it also has the later dark green fairing sides that i think look better than the light green /fading into white early models .

Would number 222 have been fitted with fuel injection when build and retro fitted with carbs or by that time build as evo model from new ?

Mines 352, its an EVO Corsa 1995 that Ive now put on the road. Like yours it has the dark green livery Smile. The later ones I believe are all modified injection models. The injector locations in the cylinders are blanked off. However I have a none injector barrel so I guess some had different barrels??

Has anyone any idea how many original direct injection ones were sold before they were all called back or swopped for SB8s ?

Despite joining photobucket and all the given advice i have been unable to upload images of my V due (i'm hopeless with computers !) but my Bimota is on Youtube under runesika's channel .
I fitted the handmade exhausts but the bike is how i brought it ie digital dash , carbon airbox , white tailpiece with dark green side panels .

142 back from 150 ! bloody hell that's a lot of unhappy original owners .
The only problem i have had is the oil seal failing on the dry clutch and LEDs not working on the dash .

One thing that always impresses me is that in eight years of owning it ,it has always started instantly even after standing for months at a time .
I have a Honda CBX 1000 and a Yamaha 350 LC and both can be a pain to start if left for month or two .

Here goes nothing. Presumably you have "uploaded" your images to Photobucket?

If so then open up Bimota Forum and start a reply to a message or a new message so that you are typing in the box, then open up a new window with your Photobucket account, when in photobucket, hover the mouse over the picture you want to upload, and a dropdown menu of links should pop up out of the bottom of the picture, go to the bottom one, should be an "img" link, and left click on it, it should now say "copied". Click back into your message, return to a new line, and right click with the mouse, go down to "paste" and it should paste the image into your message. Get it done once and you will be well proud and at it all the time, good luck

I posted some pictures under the old v due site with the title "mystery bimota exhausts " without any trouble some time ago but i have given up on this one . I will wait for a twelve year old to show me how to post on this site soon .

This is the information that I have about the total production of the Bimota Vdue:

185 - Bimota Vdue Iniezione
26 - Bimota Vdue Trofeo (1999/2000)
141 - Bimota Vdue Evoluzione
14 - Bimota Vdue Corsa Evoluzione
22 - Bimota Vdue Racing EF

All the bikes were basically assembled during 1997.

I think that a topic like this one should be created new and the only information to put on the topic should be the frame number and picture of the bike, I think that it could be a great idea creating like a data base of the Vdue still existing and allowing their owner’s to know each other.

Mine is No 200 with original EFI when I purchased it.
It now has a MoTec M800, upgraded injectors & the oil pump is stepper motor controlled. Final tuning is in progress but very close o being finished.
