welcome to the world of SB8R's.
I could pop over and check it out for you, would only cost you a couple of days use of the Tesi 3 for the Manx............... _________________ Bimota SB6 and Benelli TNT 899S road bikes.

Think the poor Tesi has had a hard life and due a bit of retirement,so no Manx it's one of Bimota's ex press bikes, so the hacks have scuffed aplenty, mechanically she's sweet, just needing some cosmetic tlc. Have done over a thousand miles on her and had a hoot of a time; but she will be next on the bench for a full strip and fresh paint.
NW200 not too far away, but closer to the Tandragee 100

Welcome aboard Waggy, nice to see pictures so early on joining the Forum, takes some folk an eternity, and good to see your collection listing of Doocati Twins....Always nice to have more fans of those on here, even if to pick the brains now and again.
Feel free to post Doocati pictures in the "other Chat" section, even if just to wind up Oily on missing out on his "twin" as whilst he may detest the Italian twin configuration, I think he may be slipping to the dark side.....
Did you get the Sb8R cheap? Must have started low if Oily was interested |

Finally got back into the man cave, and stripped the bodywork off.
No real corrosion issues, just road grime and seeping oil from cam chain tensioner on front cylinder. The right exhaust silencer has rubbed a bit against the seat unit, it looks too high and wonder if the connecting bracket between the two pipes is wrong, maybe the left should overlap the right, at the moment the right overlaps the left. Can anyone take a peek at their bike and let me know how theirs is connected.
Also any better locations for power commander. This one is just resting on top of rear shock.
Also anyone know what the box is that is velcro on top of ecu
Again very grateful for any help you folks can offer. |

The box that is velcroed to the ECU is used to convert interface the ecu to the instrument cluster. |

Right, my pc111 sits on my ecu alongside the interface, the exhausts can move to how you want, you will find there is a lot of movement on the pipes, when the link screw is off, so fit so theres no rubbing,! _________________ wot you got ?...me..well--

Tip- make up some grills with rad mesh for the three rads- save stone attacks, fit with cableties-! _________________ wot you got ?...me..well--

Thanks akito, was thinking that the flat top of the ecu would be perfect real estate for the pc3, I just hope the cable is long enough to reach, certainly won't be leaving it on top of the shock!
Wish my exhaust moved as free as yours, the right silencer is stuck fast to the connecting pipe, bleeding thing won't even rotate and my biggest mallet is having no effect will try again tomorrow.
Have taken the rads off and gave them a good flush, will probably get some mesh and do as you suggest. Again many thanks. |

Thought I'd Post a few pics of PC3 location, that might help others who find a pc3 floating on top of rear shock. Unfortunately cable lengths were not long enough to reach on top of old ecu, so under the clocks was the best I could manage. |
