During a 60 miles ride last night the temperature gauge on my bike didn't rise above the blue part of the dial. It's the third time I've noticed this. It was quite cool last night. Are they all the same? Thanks for any advice. Andrew

Possible, but I would still check two things

Ensure temp gauge sensor is conected on pipework above engine
Ensure that there is coolant and it is flowing around system
be carefull, although header tank above headlights may show
full -rubber hose from expansion tank to pipework may be blocked
or restricted

They are pretty in-accurate and temperamental things but check out Marty's suggestions and make sure the cooling system is bled of air properly Wink

Don't forget the bleed screw on the metal pipe that runs over the engine and also houses the temp sender Wink
