Cheers Waggy, always like my passions to be fed, and I can see why you don't need a single seat on the 996, Now just need the 900FE, presumably a silver one, never was a big hit for me, but perhaps in the flesh to may be better??
Do you use you garage for surgical procedures as a side line ...CLEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNN..... Laughing

998s and 999r ... very shrewd buys for the future right now I think. Keep hold of em! Wink

Cheers Waggy, if ever I run out of plates I'm coming round yours to eat my dinner off your floor Laughing

You must share the 900FE if it needs restoring, just to show that there can be dirty Ducs out there, both of those Ducs look like they were bubble wrapped from new, well done (Wheres the peely crankcase covers, wheres all that Flakey paint gone?)

Dirty headers, rusty nuts, Pure filth, I can feel my polishing mop swing into action.....cheers, although with the advancement of the internet and such freedom, possibly only classifies as mild porn dirty filth, and looks like just a few days work away from your other bikes Laughing

I thought the Alien had spawned from your airbox and then possibly realised it was bubble wrap shileding the intake tubes as you've removed the carbs for cleaning?
I know a good seller that knocks out brand new Mikuni 38's for just 89squid if you're interested?

thanks for info on the carbs, the current carbs are fine, had took them off and tried them on the other 900ss which had a problem. Haven't really started restoring the fe yet, still have the sb8 to finish, then the tesi to restore before i get round to the fe, and on top of all that a guzzi cafe racer which i want to build. Still it makes for a happy pup. Very Happy

Have always admired Bimota's and the quality of their bikes and have been on the lookout for nice ones at the right price Wink
I love the character of twins, have had multi's in the pass, but my favorite is twins, which is why I have more ducs than anything else.
That said, if any of you folks have a spare DB sitting around and want to trade for a duc, I might be interested Wink

Local dealer had a FE for <$4000. Needed work but in the flesh was not "speaking" to me.
