|
|
Dear All, I've tried this one before a while back but we have some fresh new blood in the last few months so here goes again.
The only known existence of a Bimota Register, listing frame Nos (well the last 3 digits, and Name of Owner, and location (Country Only needed) is as below
http://www.bimota.ch/register/register_en.html
manuel.nunez@bimota.ch
Email the president of the club as above, a nice man, and he will gladly add your bike to the register, with pictures if you like, and a link to your email address, but again, if you like. No real names have to be given if you wish to remain anonymous, purpose of the list is just to see how many of them are really left out there
Its also a point of reference for library photos, and some owners can be contacted if you are interested in their bikes, maybe they'll sell them, maybe they won't, some advertise their bikes on their
Manuel Takes emails in English so perfect for all the authors on this Forum
You will also see that Giorgio Sarti , the author of the Bible - "25 YEars of Bimota Excellence" is all over the place with his collection of Bimotas, so theres good company to be kept |

Multiple Ownership of Bimotas, that isn't a warning , its an upstanding example of dedication to duty, and a trait that we should all be proud off and aspire to attain |

Is your collection on the Register Pomps? The Brits in particular are particulalry way behind and noticeable in thier absence in filling in the gaps |

All you put on is the last 3 digits of the frame, no reg nos needed, well I say "put on" you email to Manuel and he puts on, with or without picture, your option |

Just in case you want to send a picture to Manuel to add to the "only known Bimota Register in the Whirrrrrrld" it doesn't have to be immaculate, one poor fellow has this one loaded against the frame number and his name, very open, honest and frank indeed!!!!!!
Ouch!!!
Bit of T-cut and a polish, and it would be good as new
This isn't yours is it Pomps? Stripped down and sold for parts with no bodywork or forks??? Frame No 7 Original location , Rome, Italy??

Testamont to the strength of the frame and welds that they're still attached looking at the force of the impact below the forks, or perhaps they were tin sliders?, always thought tin was a weak metal to make them out of |

Strange way to remove the front wheel.
That happens when there is no normal written workshop manual.
Damn Bimota manuals…. _________________ vince
