What air filter does this bike use? I looked up BMC website and could not find. Not sure if its the same as the 1098.

I think it may be the same as the 1098 but not 100% yet. Guy from Tazzie on here has just got the 200bhp kit which includes a new air filter he should be able to tell for sure.

Thats me ! Same unit as 1098, I prefer the Pipercross foam filters they tend to fit better. K&N would be next best. Just fitted mine the other night, still ordinary fit like the ducatis, but the air box is an improvement. I would recommend buying some adhesive back draft seal foam from your hardware store and stick it to each end of the new filter , better than neoprene as it allows to squish up, i even put some around the face of the intake runner where it faces onto the air box.
Have fitted my pipes and am waiting for my ecu to come back after Jason (mechanic at Bimota Aust) has done the reflash. Smile

That sucks, very interested to see what the bike looks like with the different pipe on. Didn't the 200hp kit come with a K & N filter? Was there much difference in weight between the 2 systems?

Full system would weigh about as much as the Zard can ! Sounds good too , only started it on the table before i pulled the ecu , doesnt sound typical Ducati if that helps.
Daniel I noticed somewhere that you had fitted a long belly pan , have you any photos.[/url]

Easiest way is to open up a Photobucket or Flickr account on the net(just google) they don't cost anything to open or run. then you upload your piccies onto the account, then open a new window for the Forum, keeping your photobucket account open at the same time, start a new post on the Forum, then click to your open window for the photobucket account, hver the mouse over the piccie you want, and you will see some links come up in s drop down menu, go the bottom one and click and it will say "copied" then back to the Forum click into your message then right click and hit "paste" and voila, its in your message

Only helping, coz we lover piccies....

this week should see it but i will restrict the revs for a few km yet. Twisted Evil Pipes would look good on your bike , make a bigger difference than that cf fuel tank !!!!!
Have you a photo of the under belly fairing ?
