Thanks djt77, morebhp & waggy.

Your restoration project is being followed by 2 other Tesi owners in Australia!

Question:- Waggy, did your Tesi come with the oil cooler protection or did you buy an after market protector? Tks.

The guard I got from Cox racing, type in the part number 113-15234 in their website search box http://www.coxracingroup.com/
It's well worth fitting, as the coolers location is the worst possible position, a real stone magnet.

Still enjoying the build. Loving the pictures. Almost a shame to put it into storage!

Vagabond have you got a topic/ link to any footage of the front end from your Go Pro?

Waggy, I have been following your posts and looking at my 3D whilst comparing the pics on my ipad. Very interesting indeed.

I finally got around to straightening up the clip-on bars on my 3D - your photos on another thread showing the taper was helpful. They sit almost horizontal now, 920 cm from the middle of the handlebar to the ground perpendicularly. The change of riding position is immense. Much more comfortable, neck is not strained, wrists are not compressed but the mirrors still sucks.

I have a set of black rims as well for spares which I have yet to use. However the gold set looks much better.

Anyhow, I thought you might like to see a shot from my Go Pro.
