14592 km…… I put approximately 1500 km on it….. the first 300 km weren’t that smooth … but now I have still a smile from ear to ear when I ride the bike. _________________ vince

Unfortunately the ****wit in the office below us managed to reverse into a bike that was parked next to it it in our basement carpark at work, that then fell onto it knocking it over. Then proceeded to pick up both bikes, and drive off. As no CCTV no way of proving he did it even though he has tyre marks on his rear bumper that match those on the first bike knocked over.
Currently waiting to find out what the insurance company is going to do.

Sorry to hear that mate. I hope the insurance company looks after you. Hopefully the fact that it's new will mean that part are readilly available from bimota. Karma will take care of the prick who did the wrong thing. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

That DB1 is lovely. But agreed. Complete waste. Few Bimota shaped objects in th background- DB2, and 2 others. _________________ Dreaming of a Tesi in the garage. |

The guy has been auctioning off the dad's collection in dribs and drabs over the last year or two. He must have had at least one of every model, all with tiny miles.

My DB1 had 16,000kms on the clock and was in pristine condition when I bought it in late 2005. I tried to keep the mileage low but its just such a marvelous motorcycle to ride that I have to take it for a run at least once a month. I have other bikes to ride but nothing gives the same thrill as the DB1. I've now added an additional 20,000 fun filled kilometres. |

98 yb9. 19923 km on it. Only had it for two weeks so I havent ridden it yet cos the forks are leaking badly. It probably wont be ready until next season. But it looks damn good in my livingroom. _________________ 98 YB9, 99 YZF-R6, 75 KH500, 77 GT380, 83 CX650, 94 JAWA350 |
