Going going gone - hopefully to my mate George! Think I sowed the seed when we were in Spa! He'll look after her well!

Happy and sad at the same time. £11k was what I was expecting/have asked for it before, so seems my guesstimate was about right. Not sure what happens next, assume buyer contacts me ?

You need to send final payment to him if he doesn't get in touch. Fingers crossed he will. If he was a late bidder in the last 5 then chances are you will be ok. If he is an early bidder that just got outbid automatically then i would get in touch sooner rather then later...

He literally bid in the last second, hadn't bid before, so hopefully genuine. Thanks for the advice

Hi Steve, probably using a sniping tool - which bids at the last minute - If its the buyer I know very well (Both at Spa with me this year) they are genuine there will be no problems (Goerge or Tim on his behalf).

Yup it was George (your commission will be in beer if you ever come to Norfolk). He just called me. Hope he loves the bike as much as I did, sure he will, it's a fantastic bit of kit. He confused me as it showed Tim was the winner.

Nice one. George is a good guy. Build into the contract of sales 'the ride for me next time I see George in Nottingham!'.

Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.

George's Jealous Mate!

Someone just told me they'd seen a small article in the comic (MCN) saying that there were only two V-Dues on the road. That can't be right surely ?
