Beautiful spring day in my part of the world so just had to take the SB6 out for a thrash
Went for a blast out west of Auckland only 15min to great roads B roads
Have my new speedo cable but haven't fitted it yet, how quick is 8000rpm in top ? Quick enough for now....
Looking forward to getting a few Ks on the clock before summer and it gets too hot in all the leather
How about a few pics from others of them riding their Bimota's
All Oily's pic's show his bikes in bits they can't all be broken all the time _________________ Hursty from kiwi land |

Try searching in the appropriate thread......

...you never know, there might be a few pictures of Bimota's being ridden although the shortage of "riding" pictures is probably due to the difficulty of getting somebody to take pictures whilst your having too much fun.
As for mine, none are broken...just succumbing to evolution one at a time _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

...And that's exactly what a man cave is for as well as other things you shouldn't do in front of the missus and kids _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

As a public service I thought Id check what 8k on the tacho is.
Of course all of this was conducted on a private road
On my SB6 with my gearing. I'll check the rear sproket if your that bothered. Anyway.
8k is just shy of 120MPH , about 118MPH or so, couldnt check it too acuratly as there is rather a lot going on on A roads (sorry private roads ) at that speed. _________________ Si...

Thanks Si
Sounds about right.
We don't have A roads down here but I do know a road where it's long straight and empty
so I might have to find out how quick the old girl is _________________ Hursty from kiwi land |
