My yb has a very odd high stubby on it. I am looking at changing it back to something that looks more or less original. Question is would an fzr exhaust and link pipe fit into the headers and sweep back under the rear sets ok? It's a 600 fzr engine squeezed in so I assume it would be ok? I can always butcher the one I have to suit but that seems a waste...

Not sure about the FZR exhaust fitting. I've got an FZR400 3EN1 silencer at home I'll offer it up to the Bim and see if it's close.

I do know there are a set of headers for sale, and a silencer sold separately, at present for the YB7. Smile

Problem is my engine is a 600 so assuming the headers are from that engine... I suppose as long as it is a standard size round end can it should be fine.

Which 600 though, is it a 3HE or 4JH ?

The 3HE will have 3 fins on the head (and a 3HE engine number) it has a common bottom end to the 1WG 400 engine, and the header pipes are a little longer accordingly. So as long as the YB7 used a 400 pipe you should be ok with standard or made for a 3HE system.
