OK, just found some pics of the one I made for mine, before it was cut to length and finished but does show the machining at the pivot end, so should give you guys a good idea of what the stand should look like when finished.
I just finished mine to length, didn't make at adjustable, as the ride height is now set on mine and won't need it to be changed. Obviously the adjustable one would cost (considerably) more to make, but there would be the option to finish the stand to any length desired while it is being made.
Daz.

Me interested in anywhere up to three. Price dependant though. Yes, it would be nice to walk away after parking and knowing it will not fallover! _________________ Current Bikes: SB6 Crescent; SB6 (red and white); SB6 (Not red and white) |

..as already mentioned, depending how much the rear has been "wound up", I found about 35-40mm extra to be about right.
I'm thinking that most bikes (and owners) are gonna require different lengths hence my comment about "adjustable". Failing that, Length to order and then the (larger) foot welded on. _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

...A friend of mine uses a doochatee stand on his SB6. No idea which doochatee but then again, his bike is so modified that I'm not sure it's relevant.
I'd better go and visit him...maybe this afternoon as I need to know what individual filters he's using because I'm struggling to find any that fit the SB6 _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

Don't Pipercross do sock filters ?
Edit - maybe we should ask that USA company to do a bolt on filter that does away with the airbox ??? _________________ Don't read everything you believe |
