Wow....
can't believe there's so little interest.
i thought (wrongly) that being a Bimota it wouldn't fall under the pre christmas bike selling rules...i.e bikes don't sell just before christmas.
Oh well, if it doesn't sell now the price will be going up before spring OR i might keep it and ruin it as a low mileage bike

you've got all the time in the world! belt change at £40 every 2 years is easy, no nonsense of dropping the engine to change the clutch either _________________ 03 YB11, 03 Aprilia RSVR Edwards, 94 Ducati Superlight III, 95 Honda NC30, 04 Ducati 999S, 91 kawasaki KR1-S C2, 91 Ducati 851 USD Strada, 89 ZXR750H1, 90 ZXR400H1, 205 16v Rally Car, A6 2.7TDI Avant, STM R1 engined Phoenix |

Few years ago , well 20yrs actually, I did a Riders for Health charity run , John O'Groats to Monte Carlo . Turned up at John O'Groats on my first 851 and got nothing but piss take for all the Japan multi neanderthals , 4 days later ,1600 miles and a set of Hi-sports and not a deep twin beat was missed, yet numerous jap multi's had expired . So who was left smiling then ??? And who had the most fun on the mountain roads ? Yep , certainly not the neanderthals !!
Ducati's are only as fragile as you let them be . |

Maybe, but then the only bimota's I have that have running issues are both 4cyl jap motors, and my dependable mule has a ducati engine. And the only issue I have with that is the crap alarm flattening the battery .
Merry Christmas Oily , have a good one . |

Just had to reply, 3 x 851 two of which ran from Carlise to Dubrovnic and back neither missed a beat, still have 2 now did similar run on 888 to Split same result, great ride 4 years since last time on a duc for holls, wife now travels so 2 seater is used. O duc's should only be single seaters, just my opinion.
