I'm doing up my Anetera wheels, but the rear wheel bearings need a 20x52x12. I can't find a sealed version of this bearing. Did Antera make several versions of this wheel? The original bearings were for a 28mm axle. Any idea if it will work on a SB6 even if I find the bearings? Also, I have the speedo drive, but any idea where I could find the speedo drive ring?
Thanks, Neil

I can see your problem Neil, no sealed bearings in that size. Options....sleeve the spindle and use original size bearings....sleeve the wheels and use sb6 size bearings...or buy my Antera's Laughing

I would look at turning up some inserts and shrinking/glueing them into the wheel. You could even turn up a big sleeve to go all the way through the wheels .....

It may be more economical to buy a set of dymags Wink

Why?
Think you could be disappointed with the weight of those too.
easier and quicker to cut out chips for a week. That'll probably shed more weight Wink

Thanks for you suggestions. I was thinking along the same line myself. I can get a 20x45x12 and will sleave the wheel to that size. This thing is going to drive me nuts, but it has at least convinced me never to buy another project!
Cheers, Neil

Ahhhh, but it will be worth all the effort in the end Wink
out of curiosity, do you know what model the wheels were from originally?
