...Any recommendations for servicing a pair of paioli/sb6 forks?
Last recommendation was alright ish with the service.....what am I going on about, no they weren't, there were extras added above and beyond the agreed price but now the bloody fork seal is leaking so I wouldn't use them again _________________ SB6 mk1 (project mega light, big bore)

Mark Hammond ( MH Racing near Bath) always seemed fair, and his work was as good as anywhere I've used.
Don't you fancy a crack at 'em yourself tho??

...Looks like that's what's going to happen...
Tried it once without the proper tools and what a PITA
Although, after this experience, it will be cheaper to make the tools

try RaceLab in Bournemouth - they used to set up the Enthusiasts bikes (mine included) and always seemed resonable _________________ Don't read everything you believe |

Oily,
Last summer I did servicing of the forks and it wasn’t more difficult than other type of forks I serviced
This is the special tool I made for it ( see pics ).
The most difficult part was to make the special tool, to find out what the size was of the flat sites of the cartridge
I can give you the dimensions of the special tool if you want ..so you can make one of your one.
Just shout..

...Thanks Vince
How do these dimensions compare with your tool?
