http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BIMOTA-YB11-ITALIAN-CLASSIC-EASY-PROJECT-ONLY-650-MADE-/290850375886?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item43b80888ce

It could just be poor storage but also not run since 2002

Worth a punt, but, only if you want one... should max at around 1500 I would say. Be interesting to find out!

Most of the plastics appear to be in fairly good condition, I can see a scrape on the exhaust.

Clocks will be an issue to replace, unless the standard Yamaha clocks are fitted, which is what bimota used to do with the early YB's.

I don't like the fact the radiator is off, no antifreeze in the system and left exposed to the air.

Might be worth dropping an offer on it. It's the missing link in my collection of YB's Smile

To be honest I'd look for a complete one if I was in the market.

Worth more as spares than a project.

Only exposed for the last 11 years, and its not like we have harsh winters is it??????
Money pit methinks, only starting on crossing the solenoid, so right hand started handlebar unit broken, had that issue meself, easy enough part to get though, but could point to electrics issue, but then its all FZR1000 leccies in there anyhow. Also dreaded 51mm fork seals, bet they are leaking.....

Better examples for less money, only a mother would fix this prodigy for that money...

Best bit is some optimistic, unfortunate person will actually buy it....
Me...I was out at £700 and the fella was quite emotional (or was it hormonal?) with that offer Laughing

Its at 2k chaps. 500 over my guesstimate... What do i know ! Shall be fun to see if its a forum member bidding. If it's someone with knowledge and the spares who can do the work themselves then keep the bike for a while I reckon its still just about top end. good luck to them.
