Because i don't own a bimota..yet Twisted Evil
On the left.1972 kawasaki s1 250.Restored by me from a wreck.
On the right 1972 kawasaki s2 350.One previous owner who did 65,000 miles on it.Again restored by me.

After i completed those two i had a pile of scrap parts left over so i got a 400 engine and built a special. It goes pretty well and has 62bhp at the wheel.

Likewise, and whilst I appreciate the stunning effort gone into the authentic restos, its the special for me, alloys and expannies, rin tin tin...Would be good to see them smoking, you're not that far from me, and as most would know, kettles always on Laughing

Wow great memories - pic one - when I was a kid two guys in the village had triples - one had a white 250 and the other guy had a red 350! Perfect match! Lovely looking bikes. Seems a popular machine on here - lets have some more!

Here's my old H2

Wow lovely machine - what did that go, for if its not a rude question!

I'm slowly turning into the old fart I used to meet in the pub "I used to have the BSA Gold Star you know - if i still had it now it would be worth....."

Looking froward to boring young kids in the future with 'I used to have a H2....."

Wink

That’s nice.. I have always had a soft spot for kawa’s from the 70’s probably something from my childhood. That where the boys where I was looking up to… If I hear that sound and smell the 2 stroke fumes than I m imagine me back in the 70’s again. The time that I could shit myself and drool over my shirt without people are looking funny to me. Laughing

As far as I can see from the picture they are perfectly restored.... nice job. Smile

The special is looking great especially the exhaust pipes.

I have a Z900 from 76 that I have restored and slightly modified.

Very nice - I have got pictures of me aged about 12 drooling over one of these in the Lake District back in the 70's.

When I bought my H2 the guy I bought it from had an H2 and a Z900 - both were in mint condition and I had the choice of either for the same money. Tough decision but at the time the two stroke 'ring a ding' daftness won me over!

I love most the 70's Kawasaki's - not so sure about the Z750 and Z400 twins though Wink

My first 'proper' bike Smile

Very nice indeed and look like sensible mods to get the most out of it, wheels, brakes, suspension, and what looks like a shiney polished metmachex swinging arm, or similar, hidden by them 4 zorsts though..
