Hi all, Does anyone here know whether I can get parts for my sb6 in Australia, or any suppliers - anywhere....
I'm happy to import, though I can't seem to find anyone who can get hold of the parts I need.
At the moment I'm after the ignition barrel.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Bruce

Contact Brian here on the Forum, hes an SB6 owner also in Oz. Or search on the members list for other folk in Oz, by location. I'm not familiar with the SB6, but I'm sure when the UK boys wake up, they'll tell you which Main manufacturer model the ignition assemble came from and that would help your search, plenty of SB6 owners on here, and if Oily cant help you, then I would give up Laughing As he knows them better than the backs of his hands and doubtless other parts of his body also Laughing

Best of luck and welcome to the Forum.

Hello Bruce,

Welcome to the forum ..and excellent choice the SB6. Wink

About your question, it's probably my lack of knowledge of the English language but what do you mean with “ignition barrel”
Can you make a picture of that component Question Than I know what you mean exactly.

And if you are making pictures … take a few of your Bim and place them in the topic
“Post a picture of your Bimota”

And if you have some extra time left add your frame number to the topic “SB6/7 Owners Register” in the SB section. Smile

Cheers, Vince

This type of ignition barrels are used on more different type of bikes.
I saw it at Laverda bikes, only I don’t know if the colour scheme and the connector is the same.
But that is easy to solve.

Place a picture of the ignition barrel and probably more people can tell you where to find or to look for.

Hi Bruce, welcome to the forum. Where abouts are you in Aus?

I'm not sure of the origin of the switch gear and electrics of the sb6 but i'm guessing it's Italian. I'm sure oiley can point us in the right direction.

Brian
