Really nice bits Brian...looking forward to seeing you exit from your man cave after you've put all the bits together and the resulting pictures....just one thing though with your shiney billet rearsets....arent they shot the wrong way round and upside down? is the one on the left supposed to be swivelled round and its the gear change..and the one on the right swivel round and its the rear brake? Just part of my OCD that comes of Bimota ownership...or is it that OCD leads to Bimota Ownership? Who knows eh? |

Ahh yes. I knew someone would pick up on this... should have known it would be ol' OCD man . I had just picked the package up from the post office and opened it and this was how they hit the kitchen bench. You are of course quite correct in your description . Nice work eagle eye. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

It may not be until after Christmas now before i get it together. I'm hoping to start the strip down in the next couple days.
I just picked up a nice looking Harris aluminium exhaust hanger on ebay. I had already bought a laser cut aluminium exhaust hanger for the bike but the Harris one looks nicer, maybe a tad heavier though. _________________ '99 DB4 #104, '96 SB6 #1165, '94 DB2 J #652, '99 DB4 #088, '08 VTX1800, '93 ZXR750R M1, '95 ZXR750, '95 ZXR750 Race Bike, '94 CBR400rr NC29 Race Bike, '94 CB250, '49 BSA C10 250, '61 BSA A10 650, '89 ZXR750, '91 Ducati 851 |

Yep it's a much better looking piece than this other one that I bought. I think it'll fit better too.

Progress has been pretty slow on this one but here's a couple pics of where i'm at.
I got rid of this bunch of spaghetti
And will replace it with this, plus a tacho
Stripped daown and cleaned ready to start putting it back together

Not had time to continue much with the fiddly stuff on this build lately.
Was going stir crazy so had to squeeze in a little shed time to get my head straight. I chucked the bodywork on to check fitment and see what has to be done with it.
I'm happy with the bodywork.
Now to pull it off again and get the electrics sorted, carbs sorted, rear wheel sorted, new Yoshi exhaust sorted and a few other bits and pieces.
