Im know that only a few on here are dedicated TT road racing fans (its not a bad thing... its just each to thier own) but I think its worth a mention that the usual dedicated and well loved commentry team have not had contracts renewed this year and now if you are heading over will have to put up with the normal manx presenters trying to fill in... sad but true. |

I think it is a real mistake, more for the image of the racing being heard all over the world on live stream radio..... when you are there you are wrapped up watching but it is still important. The radio coverage has always been superb. Another victim of recessionary thinking |

Thats a shame, why do they put millions into the GP racing and neglect exciting crazy road racing which is much better viewing than the normal track stuff, I enjoy both mind you, A mate of mine Gary Johnson rides the road stuff TT etc and the old lad really struggles to make a living out of the sport, and i would doubt the likes of Valentino Rossi could keep up with him round the island, but then again Gary wouldnt be able to keep up with Valentino round a track i suppose, Both brilliant at what they do but one gets paid millions and the other gets paid peanuts.. |
