so i throw a coupla liters of fuel on the floor and then throw a macth on it?
Is it ok to do it near the bike???

yak yak....as they say, theres method in the madness...
ive just been in my shed (95% humidity and 36 degrees c today-fuck me its humid here) and pulled apart the barkets that hold all the brains-got a bit rusted so i'm powdercoting them again. however there is a little rubber support that has a female thread in one end and male thread rod out the other and ive fucked it---where cn i get these little fckers from ???

correct me if I'm wrong, but that sounds like one of the few parts that you can't make, beg, borrow or steal from another vehicle Crying or Very sad
Sounds like you ought to be emailing Bimota themselves.

Seriously, Except for some of their prices, they seem pretty good these days and let's face it, the occasional part just can't be begged, stolen, borrowed or more importantly made.
I've always struggled making rubber bit's and pieces but everything else I manage Wink
I've got a big tub of pins here with your name on them Laughing

yeh i figured i could get a piece of 20mm conduit, brush the rubber off the old bits and use black silasec...

oily tell me, ive taken the fairing off the sb8r and just have screens on the taken where the old ducts went in.
i dynoed the bike last week and the bhpo cam it 109-114!! and 66ftlb of torque?
yet in 04 the same figures were 129 and 77ftlb..'so what do you (or keith reckon is going on??

Thats quite a drop in both hp and torque.
You say youve changed the way the air gets to the airbox?
My guess is...... it aint pressurizing the air box enough now

Hi

That is a hell of a drop in power and torque. Would be interested to see the power graphs to see where it has disappeared. Given that the torque appears to have dropped more than the power I would guess that it is managing to rev out a bit further to compensate for some of the loss of torque.

I would expect some drop over the years though.
