Anyone know if either (especially front) sprockets are common to other bikes?
Really need to drop a tooth on the front......

Go up 2 on the back instead ... less stress in the engine. _________________ Pomps

As Pomps Says ...go up 2 on the rear if you have sufficient slack and adjustment on your chain adjusters....also far easier to source...Whats your reason though? If its pulling away then I understand...nothing much below 5 thou to be honest...my V-due is 2 more teeth on the rear than Vorts...certainly larger than normal...pulling away is sort of fine with throttle at 3500rpm...drops 800rpm when clutch kicks in...got used to it now and it can take a bit more without fear of "flipping it"... |

I think my bike has the same rear as Vort's, with a 16t front. It just feels like it is about to stall, unless you give it a handfull........
Still dont have that many miles on it at the moment, but that should change soon.
I had a bit of a problem with the power valve on the rear cylinder, which is now fixed, so that may have been making the pulling away issue worse...... |

Its only practice for a quick get away. Once you get used to it its a nifty 6500rpm, steady dump of the clutch and you are way illegal in about 3 second. Took me a few days of riding it at the TT to get it perfected . Looks like there are enough of us for a track day for Vdues - sure that Practical Sportbikes would sponsor _________________ KB1x2, SB3 SB4 BB1 DB2 Vdue Evo YB11 RB1 Ducati MHR Suzi GS650 |

Just tried a 916 front sprocket on the shaft and it seems OK, will check further and report back.
PS it was a Renthal for 916. |
